• Postup:

• Quest začíná v severovýchodní části Yuna, v Magician Academy (ostrůvek vpravo nahoře).
  
• Jakmile budete uvnitř, uvidíte po své levé ruce NPC, se kterým si musíte promluvit a zaregistrovat se u něj.
  
• Pokud nemáte job lvl 50, budete muset zaplatit poplatek ve výši 70 000 zeny.
  
• Alternativní poplatek je Old Magic Book a Necklace of Wisdom (v tomto případě nemusíte platit).
  
• Pokud zvolíte, že je to pro vás příliš, máte ještě možnost donést 30 000 zeny, 50 Clover, 50 Feather a 25 Squid Ink.
  

• Jakmile máte zaplacený poplatek, jděte směrem nahoru skrz warp a poté zabočte doleva, kde najdete prvního zkoušejícího.
  
• Budete muset splnit psaný test, který má 20 otázek. Za každou správnou odpověď dostanete 5 bodů. Abyste prošli testem, musíte dosáhnout minimálně 80 bodů.

• Poté, co dokončíte psaný test, vás čeká trocha toho bojování.
  
• Jděte zpět do haly a tentokrát do pravé místnosti, kde vás bude čekat další zkoušející.
  
• Promluvte si s ním a pošle vás do čekárny, kde jen klikněte na chat místnost a budete vpuštěni do bojové arény.
  
• Skilly, které se vám nejspíš budou hodit, jsou: Fire Bolt 1-4, Fire Wall a Fire Ball - není to však podmínkou.
  

• První skupinu tvoří agresivní Chonchon a Fabre. Není to nic obtížného. Použijte Fire Wall a ostatní jednoduše ručně vymlaťte po jednom, nebo používejte nižší lvly boltu. Máte na to 3 minuty.
  

• Druhá skupina se skládá z neagresivních Lunaticů. Na začátku se jich z 6 původních vynoří asi 30. Pokud máte Fire Wall, snažte se ho použít co nejrychleji, než se rozutečou. Pokud jsou někde pohromadě, používejte Fire Ball. Ostatní doražte podobným způsobem jako skupinku 1. Opět na to máte 3 minuty.
  

• Poslední skupinka obsahuje 5 Whisperů, avšak jen jeden v centru je agresivní, a toho musíte zabít. Můžete použít Fire Wall nebo kombinaci Frost Diver a Lightning Bolt. Jakmile jej porazíte, máte praktickou zkoušku za sebou.
  

• Vraťte se zpět za zkoušejícím, který vás pošle za náhodným ze tří profesorů.

• Nachází se v budově Sage Academy. Vyjděte z místnosti zpět na chodbu a vydejte se nahoru až na konec chodby a potom doleva.
• Profesor se vás zeptá na pár otázek o stromu Yggdrasil, a potom vás požádá o donesení jedné z jeho částí (máte na výběr Yggdrasil Berry, Yggdrasil Seed nebo Yggdrasil Leaf; ale nevezme si ho, takže ho potom máte u sebe).
• Potom si vyslechněte jeho přednášku o stromě Yggdrasil.

• Pak vás požádá o (když napíšete špatně esej, bude to chtít znova):

  • 1x Squid Ink
    
  • 1x Animal Skin
    
  • 1x Empty Bottle
    
• Poté stačí už jen odklikávat a správně tak sepsat esej.

• Asgard, where gods live.
  

• A giant ash tree.
  
• Asgard, Jotunnheim, Niflheim.
  
• can restore half of total HP and SP.
  

• Esej musíte zanést Deanovi, který se nachází v budově v levé horní části Yuna (tam, kde přestupujete na Advanced, běžte pořád rovně, než na něj narazíte).
  
• Pokud máte správně sepsanou esej, změníte se na Sage.
